This dictionary will grow with the help of our visitors. You can help fill the gaps, add new words to the list and even start a new language column.
How to use the dictionary: If you want to know the German for the English word boot, select English as the first language. You will get an alphabetical list of English expressions (empty lines first). Then select German, and the German meanings will be listed next to the English ones. If you can fill a gap please do so, provided you are really sure you know the right expression. Just enter the word or words in the appropriate input box(es) and then press the Update dictionary button at the bottom of the page. You can only add words that are listed in the leftmost column. So if you see a French word for which no English expression exists, and you want to add the Polish meaning, you will not be able to add the Polish word while English is the leftmost language. Press Clear languages, then select French as the first language and then Polish. Now you will be able to enter the Polish expression in the input box next to the French expression.
If you want to add a new concept that is not yet contained in the dictionary, you must have the appropriate language in the leftmost column. Then you can enter the new word at the bottom of the leftmost column.
To add a new language, enter the English name of the language in the input box on the right and press Add a new language. The new language can then be selected from the drop down menu.
If you click on a word this will open a new page with a link list connected with that notion. If you own a webpage with relevant information about the concept in question you can enter your link after adding a backlink on your page.
